Mariska Hargitay, known for her role in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, hosted the 2016 Joyful Revolution Gala in NYC to support her foundation, The Joyful Heart Foundation. The organization aims to help survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and child abuse. Hargitay was accompanied by her husband and son, as well as co-star Stephanie March. Other celebrities in attendance included Kathy Najimy, Anthony Edwards, Samantha and Charlotte Ronson, and Ellen Burstyn. The event featured performances by Natalie Merchant, Raúl Esparza, and DJ Samantha Ronson, with Tina Fey making an appearance.
