A Nashville home previously owned by Dolly Parton and her husband, Carl Dean, has sold for $849,000. The couple owned the 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom house from 1980 until 1996 when they sold it for $140,000. The 2.4-acre property features a detached storage building, carport, covered porch and patio, deck, and a great room for entertaining. The home opened as a bed-and-breakfast called Dolly's Retreat and later served as the hub for an online business. The detached studio could also be used as a venue for weddings, family reunions, or even a museum. It is unknown whether the new owners plan to use the property for anything Dolly Parton-related.
