The singer, known for her positivity and energy, opened up about feeling broken down during a 1982 tour cancellation due to abdominal pain and bleeding. Two years later, she had a partial hysterectomy, which left her unable to have children. Parton also struggled with binge eating and heartache from an emotional love affair at the time. Her faith helped her overcome her inner demons and find answers. Parton emerged from the experience stronger, saying it made her "twice the person I ever was.
