During an interview with Nancy O'Dell on TalkShopLive, Kelly Clarkson revealed that she decided to move her talk show to the East Coast as she and her kids needed a fresh start, and her family is based in North Carolina. The show will be moving from the Universal Los Angeles lot to NBC Studios at Rockefeller Plaza in New York City. Clarkson also addressed claims that her talk show had become a "toxic" workplace and vowed to eradicate any toxicity through leadership training. The singer recently announced a 10-date residency at Planet Hollywood's Zappos Theater in Las Vegas following the release of her 10th studio album Chemistry.
The album features songs inspired by her seven-year marriage to ex-husband Brandon Blackstock. Kelly and Brandon share two children, River and Remington, and Brandon has two children from a previous marriage.
