The move is in response to New York's Film Tax Credit, which provides incentives to eligible television series that relocate to the state. The show has previously premiered in New York City and has established itself as a fan favorite with A-level guests and feel-good segments like "Kellyoke." "The Kelly Clarkson Show" has won 13 Daytime Emmy Awards, and was renewed through 2025 last November. Production of the show will take place in Studio 6A, formerly home to late night hosts Jimmy Fallon, David Letterman, and Conan O'Brien.
