Singer and songwriter Dani Kerr from North Carolina made her debut on America's Got Talent during Tuesday night's episode. Despite feeling a little anxious, Kerr impressed the judges with her solid voice and vulnerable delivery. After initially stopping her first song due to nerves, Simon Cowell asked Kerr to perform another song, which earned plenty of cheers from the crowd. The judges likened her to Stevie Nicks, Dolly Parton, and Miley Cyrus, with Cowell commending her ability to write her own songs and saying that she has one of his favorite voices of the year. Kerr received four "yes" votes and will move on to the next phase of the competition.
