is filling in all and any blank spaces surrounding her – drama.
On Sunday night, Kardashian West to her Snapchat of an alleged phone call between the rapper and Swift discussing his song “Famous” – a call that Swift had , multiple sources tell PEOPLE.
In statement previously released to PEOPLE when “Famous” made its debut, Swift’s rep said, “Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, ‘I made that bitch famous.'”
The rep added: “Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single "Famous" on her Twitter account.”
After the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star re-ignited the fire by posting the “secretly” recorded call, the singer took to Instagram to
.
“Where is the video of Kanye telling me he was going to call me ‘that bitch’ in his song? It doesn’t exist because it never happened. You don’t get to control someone’s emotional response to being called ‘that bitch’ in front of the entire world,” the singer wrote on her social media account. “He promised to play the song for me, but he never did. While I wanted to be supportive of Kanye on the phone call, you cannot ‘approve’ a song you haven’t heard. Being falsely painted as a liar when I was never given the full story or played any part of the song is character assassination.”

: “You still got – you still got the Nashville number?”
: “I still have the Nashville area code, but I had to change it.”
: (rapping) “For all my South side n—– that know me best, I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex.”
: “I’m, like, this close to overexposure.”
: “This one is, uh – I think this is a really cool thing to have.”
: “I know, I mean it’s like a compliment, kind of.”
: ” I give a fuck about is you as a person and as a friend.”
: “That’s sweet.”
: “I want things that make you feel good. I don’t want to do rap that makes people feel bad.”
: “Um, yeah. I mean go with whatever line you think is better.
It’s obviously very tongue-in-cheek either way.”
: “And I really appreciate you telling me, that’s really nice.”
: “Oh – yeah. I just had a responsibility to you as a friend. I mean, thanks for being like so cool about it.”
: “Aw, thanks. Yeah, I really appreciate it. Like, the heads up is like, so nice. [inaudible] even asking or seeing if I would be okay with it and I just really appreciate it. Like I would never expect you to like tell me about a line in one of your songs.”
: “It’s pretty crazy.”
: “And then the flowers that you sent me – I like Instagrammed a picture of them and it’s like the most Instagram likes I’ve ever gotten.
It was like 2.7…”
: “Relationships are more important than punch lines, you know?”
: “Yeah, I mean – I don’t think anyone would listen to that and be like oh that s a real diss she must be crying. It’s just, you’ve gotta tell the story the way that it happened to you and the way that you experienced it. Like, you honestly didn’t know who I was before that. It doesn’t matter that I sold seven million of that album before you did that which is what happened – you didn’t know who I was before that. It’s fine.”
–
: “I might be in debt, but I can make these things happen, and I have the ideas to do it and I create these things and concepts.
Like, I’m always going to respect you. And I’m really glad that you have the respect to call me and tell me that as a friend about the song … It s just like a really cool thing to do, and a really good show of friendship, so thank you.”
: “Thank you, too.”
: “And you know, if people ask me about it I think it would be great for me to be like, ‘Look, he called me and told me the line before it came out. Like, jokes on you guys, We re fine.’ You guys want to call this a feud; you want to call this throwing shade but, you know, right after the song comes out I’m going to be on a Grammy red carpet and they’re going to ask me about it and I’ll be like, ‘He called me.
’ It’s awesome that you’re so outspoken about this and be like, ‘Yeah, she does. It made her famous.’ It’s more provocative to say ‘might still have sex’ because ”
–
: “It’s not – it doesn’t matter to me. There’s not like one [line] that hurts my feelings and one that doesn’t.”
Under California’s “two-party consent” law, West could potentially face “$2,500 dollars per violation and up to a year in prison” if Swift had an expectation that the call would be private, , Esq. of Irvine-based business, family and trial law firm Brown & Charbonneau, LLP tells PEOPLE.
