During a recent appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Keith Urban shared a funny story about his wife Nicole Kidman joining him on stage to sing his song "Parallel Line" at a Spotify event in Nashville. Although the duet wasn't planned, Kidman couldn't resist shouting from the audience for him to play the song.
Urban humorously admitted that Kidman now regrets her impulsive shout-out. He was discussing the song when he heard her voice from the back of the room. Recognizing her immediately, he decided to challenge her to come up on stage and sing it with him. Urban didn't expect her to accept the challenge since performing in front of an audience can be frustrating and nerve-wracking for her, but she surprised him by agreeing to join him on stage.
The couple shared their humorous encounter with Olympian Adam Rippon during a date night at the Time 100 gala in New York City. Urban revealed that both he and Kidman are big fans of Rippon and enjoyed meeting him. Kidman complimented Rippon on his scent and then insisted that he smell Urban as well. To their amusement, Rippon leaned in and confirmed that Urban indeed smelled good.
Keith Urban's new album, Graffiti U, has recently been released, and he continues to entertain audiences both on stage and in interviews with his candid and lighthearted stories.
