Dolly Parton shared a rare photo of herself and her husband Carl Dean on Instagram. The couple, who got married in 1966, were holding hands and smiling in the snap taken during their younger years. Carl has been known to stay out of the public eye and has made few appearances over the years. Dolly previously honoured her husband's 79th birthday by recreating her 1978 Playboy cover for him. While Dolly has become a country music icon, Carl has focused on running his asphalt business and has only seen her perform on a few occasions.
