Scarlett Johansson is set to star in and executive produce a TV adaptation of the John Katzenbach novel "Just Cause." The project holds special significance for Johansson, as she starred in the 1995 movie adaptation as a child. The series will follow the character of Madison 'Madi' Cowart, a struggling reporter assigned to cover the final days of a death row inmate. The show was picked up by Amazon in a competitive bidding process, with Christy Hall writing the series. This marks Johansson's first major starring role in a TV series.
