However, their short-lived relationship fell through after Tommy Davis told her that Cruise wanted someone with her own power like Nicole Kidman. The extreme grooming and molding of Boniadi became too overwhelming, resulting in an incident of miscommunication with David Miscavige, which led to her being packed off to the Church away from Cruise.
