Jennifer Garner revealed that her old agent had given her an ultimatum about retiring if she didn't accept the role in Dallas Buyers Club. During production, Garner was struggling with nursing and almost quit, but co-star Matthew McConaughey persuaded her to continue and even gave her a break to pump in private. Garner and her then-husband Ben Affleck, who have three children together, divorced due to growing apart, but they still share parenting responsibilities. Garner is currently dating businessman John Miller, while Affleck is married to Jennifer Lopez.
