Nine Perfect Strangers producer Bruna Papandrea and co-producer Jodi Matterson have praised actress Nicole Kidman for her outstanding performance and ability to fully inhabit a character. The trio has collaborated on five different projects, including the upcoming TV series Roar. Kidman recently revealed that filming for Nine Perfect Strangers was almost cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the team was still able to make the show in Australia while adhering to strict safety measures. Based on a novel by Liane Moriarty, the limited series follows nine urbanites who seek respite at a wellness retreat run by Kidman's character, Masha.
