Pete Davidson sells out two stand up shows... following stint in rehab!
2023/08/03

appears to be on the road to recovery following a stint in a rehabilitation facility where he sought in-patient treatment for borderline personality disorder and PTSD.

is reporting that the comedian and actor is back out on the road to perform his stand up show this week with a couple of shows scheduled for the Improv in Dania, Florida, which is in the Fort Lauderdale area, on Tuesday.

The shows are already sold out, so fans who don't already have tickets are out of luck.

At this point, there's been no official word on when he left the medical facility in Pennsylvania that he checked into in June, which happens to be the same one his friend and fellow comedian,

, had received treatment for and drug-related issues.

Davidson, 29, has gone through a rough patch in his personal life in recent times that includes a public face-off with PETA over a puppy he bought for his mother, as well as legal ramifications of his car accident where he rammed into a Beverly Hills home earlier in the year.

Back on the road: It appears Pete Davidson, 29, has taken huge strides on the mental health front by scheduling two new stand up comedy shows in Florida this week following his latest stint in a rehabilitation facility in Pennsylvania

'Pete regularly goes to rehab for "tune ups" and to take a mental break, so that’s what's happening,' a friend told back in late June, when explaining his motivation for checking himself into the rehab.

As a result of his in-patient stay for treatment, the Staten Island, New York native had to cancel a series of shows that were scheduled for July.

A close source added, 'Anyone who knows Pete knows that he will always step up and get help when he knows he needs it.'

That insider maintains Davidson 'has a lot of people in his corner who love him and support him, and are proud of him.'

But now it appears he's

feeling well enough, at this point, to get back to performing on stage in front of an audience.

These new stand up dates, in the wake of his mental health break, are reportedly part of his process to work out new material, which is common before comedians head out on a full-fledge tour and do a television special.

The former Saturday Night Live cast member has had a lot on his plate in recent years, juggling his stand up career with TV sponsorships and series of new acting roles, all while starting up a new romance with girlfriend Chase Sui Wonders.

Among his new movies shoots in 2023 and beyond: Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts, cameos in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.

3 and Fast X, and the upcoming releases of Dumb Money, The Home and Wizards!

Back at it: The former SNL cast member has two new shows booked for Tuesday at the Improv in Dania, Florida, which is in the Fort Lauderdale area
