Actress Scarlett Johansson revealed that she named her one-year-old son, Cosmo, by putting random letters together. Her husband's mother initially had a hard time accepting the name and suggested alternatives. However, Johansson's daughter, Rose, liked the name because it was based on a flower. Johansson and her husband, Colin Jost, announced their son's arrival in August 2021. Jost mentioned that his mother consulted others from the Italian community before approving the name. The couple got engaged in 2019 and married in 2020. Johansson also has a daughter from her previous marriage to Romain Dauraic.
