Riley Keough, the daughter of Lisa Marie Presley, will become the sole trustee of her mother's estate under a proposed settlement with her grandmother, Priscilla Presley. The settlement would also provide Priscilla Presley with an undisclosed amount of money to drop her legal challenge to a 2016 amendment to her daughter's will that replaced her as one of the trustees of the estate. Keough has stated that she does not intend to receive any financial compensation for her role as trustee and that the money will be safeguarded and invested in a manner consistent with the needs of the beneficiaries.
Lisa Marie Presley died on January 12, 2023, at the age of 54 after suffering full cardiac arrest at her home in California.
