At the South By Southwest Music conference, Keith Urban revealed that he wished he had become sober much earlier in his life. The talented musician announced that he went to rehab for his addiction in 1998 and is now grateful for making that decision. Keith credits his wife, Nicole Kidman, for teaching him to try anything, regardless of the outcome, which had a huge impact on his recovery. Before meeting Nicole, Keith admits he was terrible at relationships and even wrote songs about love, which his girlfriend at the time called him out on. After meeting Nicole in 2005 and marrying her the following year, Keith went into rehab for the third and final time after her intervention, and has been sober ever since.
