JUST IN: Kevin Costner Claims Estranged Wife Refuses to Move Out Despite Prenup Terms
2023/06/14
Kevin Costner, the star of Yellowstone, has accused his estranged wife, Christine Baumgartner, of refusing to move out of their California home despite a pre-marital agreement stating she must do so. Costner claims he has already given her $1.2 million under the terms of their prenuptial agreement and has paid her a total of $1.45 million, which she has access to in order to find another place to live. He has offered to advance $10,000 for her moving costs and pay $30,000 per month towards a rental house as part of his child support obligations. Costner's filing accuses Baumgartner of staying in the house to make "various financial demands" and he is asking the court to force her to vacate the residence.
They have three children together. In addition to his personal life drama, Costner has also been in a showdown with the producers of Yellowstone over his shooting schedule conflicting with his upcoming four-part epic Western, Horizon. Paramount confirmed that Yellowstone will return for the second half of Season 5 in November, but did not address Costner's participation, leading to speculation that his character of John Dutton may be killed off early in the run of new episodes.
