Lynyrd Skynyrd's Rickey Medlocke and Johnny Van Zant surprised country star Jelly Roll during a show in Jacksonville, Florida. They performed Skynyrd's classic song "Simple Man" together and praised Jelly Roll as "the real deal." Before leaving the stage, they gifted him one of Gary Rossington's guitars. Rossington's family wanted Jelly Roll to have it, and it was an emotional moment for him. Lynyrd Skynyrd recently released a box set to celebrate their 50th anniversary, which includes previously unreleased live tracks.
