Mariska Hargitay, known for her role as Captain Olivia Benson on Law & Order: SVU, recently debuted a new haircut with '70s-style chop and curtain bangs. In addition, she received an honorary doctorate from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, which she dedicated to assault survivors. Hargitay is the founder of Joyful Heart Foundation, which provides support to survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and child abuse.
