Mariska Hargitay celebrated the 21st season debut of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, which made history as the longest-running prime-time live-action series in TV history. She was joined by Ice-T, Kelli Giddish, Peter Scanavino and creator Dick Wolf. Hargitay wore a brown plaid pantsuit with gold earrings and a new necklace featuring a bejeweled "21" pendant. The show follows Hargitay's character, Lieutenant Olivia Benson, as she investigates sexually-related crimes in New York City. Hargitay has also set a record for the longest-running female character in a prime-time live-action series, earning eight Emmy nominations and one win.
