The late comedian Betty White will have a private ceremony, as per her wishes. Even in life, she never wanted people to fuss over her, said her close friend and agent, Jeff Witjas. While White was known for her work on screen, she also had a passion for animal advocacy and worked with organizations such as the Los Angeles Zoo and Wildlife Learning Center.
People who want to honor her memory are encouraged to donate to her favorite organizations. White passed away peacefully in her sleep at 99, just weeks before her 100th birthday. She had no fear or dread of death, but was happy to stay around for as long as possible.
