The production of Season 2 of the Taylor Sheridan show, 1923, has been officially delayed indefinitely due to the Writers Guild of America strike. Filming was scheduled to start in June in Butte, Montana, but no one showed up, and there was no response from the production team about when or if they would return. The SAG-AFTRA contract is set to expire at the end of June, and members have already voted to approve a strike ahead of negotiations. This could cause a further delay for the final season of Yellowstone and other related shows like the prequel set in the 1940s and a series starring Matthew McConaughey.
The only Dutton-related show moving forward currently is Lawmen: Bass Reeves, a spinoff of 1883.
