Jelly Roll's 'Need a Favor' Makes Cross-Genre Chart History
2023/06/18

Jelly Roll's "Need a Favor" has made history by becoming the first song to break into the Top 10 on both the Billboard Country Airplay chart and the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart. The single comes from Jelly Roll's album Whitsitt Chapel, which was released in early June. "Need a Favor" rose to No. 9 on the June 24th Country Airplay chart and is currently at No. 3 on the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart. This milestone is a first for Jelly Roll and any artist in general. Other country acts to place singles in the Top 10 on both charts include Zac Brown Band, Brantley Gilbert, Kid Rock, and Travis Tritt, while Sting and Dave Matthews have crossed over from rock to achieve Top 10 country hits.
