The song, written by Chase McGill, Jessi Alexander, Hunter Phelps, and Mentor Williams, features a familiar melody from Dobie Gray's "Drift Away." Lynch and Jelly Roll deliver a true country anthem with their collaboration. "Chevrolet" is a glimpse into Lynch's upcoming album, "Killed The Cowboy," which explores personal and introspective themes. The album is set to release on September 19.
