Gwen Stefani got emotional while discussing her first red carpet appearance with Blake Shelton on the Kelly Clarkson Show. She wore a gorgeous red gown to the Vanity Fair Oscar party in February 2016 and revealed it was their first public date. Shelton made an exception for her as he never does red carpets. They started dating in 2015, got engaged in 2020, and married last summer. Stefani also praised Vera Wang for making her dress for the Met Ball in May of this year. The designer's original sketch looked nearly identical to the finished product.
